Mechanical Drawings
Existing Systems, Precisely Documented
We produce scan-accurate mechanical drawings of existing HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems — giving engineers and contractors a verified baseline to design from, coordinate against, and build with confidence.
Design New Systems With a Verified Record of What’s Already There
Mechanical systems in existing buildings are rarely where the paper says they are. Ducts get rerouted, pipes get added, equipment gets replaced — and the record drawings never catch up. When engineers rely on outdated documentation, clashes happen in the field, budgets blow out, and schedules slip.
We solve that problem at the source. Using LiDAR scanning, we capture the as-installed position of every accessible duct, pipe, piece of equipment, and terminal device — then draft accurate mechanical drawings that reflect reality. The result is a verified baseline your team can coordinate against from day one, not a document that needs constant field correction.
What Our Mechanical Drawings Include
- check_circle Duct routing, sizes, and invert elevations
- check_circle Supply, return, and exhaust terminal locations
- check_circle Equipment positions — AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and condensers
- check_circle Pipe runs with diameter notation and service identification
All MEP Disciplines Covered
We document mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as an integrated set — giving your whole project team a single, consistent source of truth for existing conditions.
HVAC & Ductwork
Supply, return, and exhaust duct networks drawn to scale — sizes, routing, fittings, and all terminal devices located and annotated throughout the building.
Plumbing & Drainage
Domestic cold and hot water supply, waste, and vent stacks drawn in plan — pipe diameters noted, fixture connections shown, and riser locations identified.
Electrical & Conduit
Panel locations, conduit routing, distribution boards, and accessible junction boxes documented — giving electrical engineers a verified existing-conditions baseline.
Fire Protection Piping
Sprinkler mains, branch lines, and head locations plotted in plan — essential for any modification, addition, or compliance review of existing fire-suppression systems.
Types of Mechanical Drawings We Produce
From a single-floor HVAC plan to a complete MEP drawing set for a multi-story facility — we produce exactly what your project requires.
HVAC Floor Plans
Plan-view drawings of all ductwork, air handling units, fan coil units, and terminal devices — sized and located from LiDAR scan data for maximum accuracy.
Heating, Cooling & VentilationPlumbing Plans
Existing sanitary, storm, and domestic water systems drawn in plan — pipe sizes, riser locations, and fixture connections documented for renovation coordination.
Domestic & SanitaryMEP Coordination Drawings
Composite plans overlaying mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on the architectural floor plan — the single document your coordination team needs to avoid clashes.
Multi-Discipline OverlayRiser Diagrams
Schematic vertical diagrams showing how mechanical and plumbing systems travel through the building floor by floor — essential for multi-story retrofit projects.
Multi-Story BuildingsIndustrial Process Drawings
Piping and instrumentation documentation for manufacturing facilities, plant rooms, and industrial processes where accurate pipe routing is critical to operations.
Industrial & ProcessCommercial & Institutional
Full MEP as-built drawing sets for offices, hospitals, schools, and retail centres undergoing major refurbishment or change of use — delivered as DWG and PDF.
Retrofit & RefurbishmentOur Proven Process
1. Site Scheduling
We review the building type, system complexity, and access requirements — plant rooms, ceiling voids, and restricted-access spaces planned in advance.
2. LiDAR Scanning
Our scanner captures the full 3D geometry of all accessible mechanical spaces — ductwork, pipes, equipment, and their precise spatial relationships recorded in a single pass.
3. MEP Drafting
Our technicians extract system geometry from the point cloud and draft fully annotated mechanical drawings in AutoCAD — pipe sizes, duct dimensions, and equipment tags all included.
4. QA & Delivery
Every drawing is reviewed against the scan data before delivery — dimensions verified, systems correctly identified, and files packaged as DWG and print-ready PDF.
